Our Palm Trees
The first palm trees were planted in Torquay in the 1820's. Now they can be seen everywhere and give the area a mediterranean feel.

Torquay Harbour
This is Torquay Harbour. For any keen "boat spotters" this is the place to come and pick out the sort of luxury yacht you will buy when you win the lottery.

Torquay Sunrise
This is the view of Torquay at sunrise. However, to see this you may need to miss out on a hearty breakfast at Abingdon House!

The Beach
This is Torre Abbey Sands right in the heart of Torquay. Dogs are banned in the summer months. However, don't doggies and their owners need not worry as there are other beaches nearby, such as Maidencombe Beach, where dogs are allowed all year.
