Torre Abbey
This is Torre Abbey - just a few minutes walk from Abingdon House - dating back to the days of Richard The Lionheart. Alongside Torre Abbey is the Spanish Barn, one of Britain's most complete early medieval barns, and so called because in 1588 it was used to house 400 Spanish prisoners from the Spanish Armada. Torre Abbey re-opened in 2008 after a major restoration programme.

Abingdon House
This is Abingdon House - the home of Robert and Betty MacDonald. They hope it will feel just like a 'home from home' for you too when you come to stay.

Thatcher Rock
Thatcher Rock just off shore of Ilsham Marine Drive, one of Torquay's most select residential areas.

Cockington
If you are staying in and around Torquay, a visit to Cockington must not be missed. The village with its thatched houses, amazing Devon cream teas and the beautiful park itself - there is such a lot to see and do.

Princess Gardens
Torquay has many lovely, very well maintained parks awash with colour and palm trees - a great place for a stroll.

Livermead
The distinctive 'red' of the rock that makes up this headland reveals that it was formed in desert conditions prevailing in the Triassic Period, over 200 millions years ago.
